FMCG sourcing and export to United Arab Emirates
A sea market — and the one where the paperwork weighs more than the freight.
Containers leave a Turkish sea port for Jebel Ali. The freight end of this is routine; what decides whether a shipment clears on time is the documentation, and Gulf destinations ask for more of it than European ones do.
GSO conformity and G-Mark documentation apply here on top of the ordinary export set, and halal certification — issued for the producing facility rather than for the batch — where the product calls for it. We prepare those and send them with the consignment instead of leaving you to chase a manufacturer for them after the container has sailed.
The site, the trading terms and your quotation are in Arabic.
How it travels
- Loads from
- Tekirdağ, Ambarlı — or any Turkish sea port
- By sea
- Jebel Ali
- Mode
- Container — full load
- Incoterms
- EXW · FOB · CFR · CIF · DAP
What travels with it
- Invoice, packing list and certificate of origin
- Export health or conformity certificate from the provincial agriculture directorate, for food and beverages
- GSO conformity and G-Mark documentation
- Halal certification issued for the producing facility, where the product calls for it
Exactly which conformity route a product takes depends on the product and on the scheme in force when it ships, so we confirm it against your order before quoting rather than assuming the last shipment's answer still holds.
One thing to settle first
Brand owners set their own rules about where their goods may be resold. Send the brands with the quantities and we check them against the destination before quoting — it is a short check, and it is cheaper than a container that cannot be discharged.
