Snacks & Confectionery — wholesale sourcing and export

Biscuits, chocolate, chips, wafers and gum — the everyday impulse ranges retail depends on.

Türkiye is one of the world's serious confectionery origins, and this is the category where a buyer's assortment matters more than any single line. A confectionery shelf sells on variety: twenty facings of eight brands, not one pallet of one wafer.

That is exactly what most exporters cannot do, because they quote by the container. We build mixed pallets — which is why our minimum is one pallet rather than one box of 20 feet. A distributor testing a market can start with a genuine assortment instead of gambling on a single SKU.

Heat is the operational risk in this category. Chocolate moving through the Gulf or across the Red Sea in summer needs either a temperature-controlled unit or a sailing window chosen deliberately. We will tell you which before you order, not after the container arrives bloomed.

What we source in this category

  • Chocolate — bars, tablets, pralines, coated wafers
  • Biscuits, crackers and cookies
  • Wafers and filled wafers
  • Cakes, croissants and ambient bakery
  • Chewing gum, mints and dragées
  • Hard candy, toffee, jelly and marshmallow
  • Savoury snacks — chips, extruded, nuts, crackers
  • Turkish delight, halva and traditional confectionery

Packing and loading

  • Light and bulky — volume binds long before payload, so High Cube boxes carry the most value
  • Chocolate needs a temperature plan for Gulf, Red Sea and equatorial routing; we flag this at quotation
  • Mixed pallets are standard here, not an exception
  • Cartons are crush-sensitive; double stacking assessed per line rather than assumed

Documentation that travels with it

  • Commercial invoice and packing list
  • Certificate of Origin; A.TR or EUR.1 where applicable
  • Export health certificate from the provincial agriculture directorate
  • Allergen declarations and full ingredient lists for destination labelling
  • Halal certification where the destination requires it

Tariff classification. Predominantly HS Chapters 17, 18 and 19. The exact commodity code depends on the individual product and is confirmed on the invoice.
