FMCG sourcing and export to Germany

A container market rather than a pallet one — and a paperwork market before it is a price one.

The road to Germany runs through Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary and Austria, and the distance is real enough that the economics usually favour either a full truck or sea freight out of a Turkish port. That is worth settling before anything is quoted, because it moves the landed cost further than the unit price will.

German buyers ask us for paperwork before they ask for a number: a written specification the manufacturer can be held to, origin documentation that survives an audit, and the remaining shelf life in writing rather than in conversation. None of that is special handling here — it is the ordinary way we source, which is why it is published on this site instead of offered on request.

The site, the trading terms and your quotation are in German.

How it travels

Loads from
Çorlu, Tekirdağ, Ambarlı
By sea
From any Turkish sea port
By road
Kapıkule, then through the Balkans
Incoterms
EXW · FOB · CFR · CIF · DAP

What travels with it

  • Invoice, packing list and certificate of origin
  • Export health or conformity certificate from the provincial agriculture directorate, for food and beverages
  • Halal certification issued for the producing facility, where the product calls for it

Which EU entry formalities and movement documents apply depends on the individual product rather than on the country, so we confirm them against your actual order before quoting rather than afterwards.

One thing to settle first

Several international brands restrict resale inside the European Economic Area, and Germany is inside it. Send the brands with the quantities and we check the destination against them before quoting, rather than at the point where it costs you a planned shipment.

Tell us the product, destination, quantity and Incoterm.

That is everything we need to come back with a costed offer. We usually respond within 3 business days.
